The group called Peaches was formed when two Swedish girls met at an audition. Tave Wanning was 8 when she joined the group and Isabelle Erkendal was 11. Their only single so far to ever receive fame was “Rosa Helikopter that went gold. In 2005 the group stopped performing and currently the girls are working on their own solo careers.

Surprise, FOX cancels a ton of shows

I guess this should not surprise me anymore since Fox is notorious for axing shows within weeks even if they have a chance to be good, but one of the shows, The Chicago Code did surprise me. The Chicago code was made by the makers of the shield and perhaps that statement alone is why the show did not make it. I personally thought it was a great show, but the ratings were low and it got the axe.

Donkey Kong

The new level brings some never before seen obstacles to the game. The floor on the second floor moves to either left or right and make it very hard for you to move around. It’s best to use your jump technique to get to the closest ladder and move up. As you can see, the fireballs are there to fry your ass and the oil barrel is up there creating havoc for Mario. The level overall is not as challenging as you would think, it’s the second level in the game after all. As soon as you reach the top level Donkey Kong will take the sexy girl up once more.

CD gaming from the late 80s

You see, oh patient and wise reader, CD gaming had hit the mainstream gaming market since the late 80s. The very late 80s actually, or to be more precise since December 1989, when Codemasters (then publishers of such classics as Dizzy, Ghostbusters and Jet Bike Simulator, now found here) released their famous CD Games Pack, an impressive collection of 30 games all on one CD. The compilation was available for 8-bit home computers like the Amstrad CPC, the Spectrum and the Commodore 64.

The Other Guys

Hollywood has produced countless cop films over the years. More often than not they feature hero cops who have saved the day over and over. But what about the other guys – the cops lurking in the background who get lumbered with all the mundane assignments and spend half their time doing paperwork while the top guys bask in the glory? Will they ever have a chance to show what they can do when they get the chance?

League of Legends: The Unsung Hero of the Online Competitive Gaming Scene

First and foremost, LoL is free to play. That’s right, you can go download and play it for free right now. Not only is it free to play, you can earn all the champions and runes for free over time. So unlike other free to play games, you can actually enjoy all aspects of the game (from a competitive standpoint) without being tricked into spending money. However, if you like the game, you probably will shell out some cash so that you can grab a champion pack or some skins to make your champions look more mighty or goofy. Skins only change the aesthetics of your current champion so they are by no means required.

Game Gallery: Puzzle Bobble

One of my reasons for doing this is because, when I first started writing game reviews I found it really difficult to find decent quality screenshots, and half the ones I did find were tagged, which infuriates me. So, I started grabbing my own screenshots and, unlike so many other selfish tossers on the net, anyone is welcome to take my screenshots and use them for whatever they like. It would be nice if I could get a namecheck or something in return, but if not, no problem!
