Read MoreAnother feature of the battle system is the combined attack combos where you can apply combos with your allies for higher damage. You’ll of course need both allies to have their battle gauge filled and for them to have enough points to complete the attack. If one player doesn’t have enough MP, then you are out of luck.
Read MoreSo about a year ago I tried my hand at stand-up and instead of making a fool of myself on stage at an open mic I decided to practice first and here is the first result.
Read MoreAmong them was splendid Retro Gamer forum user, Tepid Snake, who helped me get past Round 98, on which I’d been stuck for a few days. It was then that I discovered that those crafty scoundrel’s at Taito don’t give you the proper ending unless you finish the game with two players. So back I went to complete the game again, after adding a few credits for a non-existent second player, so I could detail the ‘proper’ ending here. Then I find out that I’ve still not earned the full ending! To do that I have to decipher the mysterious code that I received on earning the ‘Happy Ending’, but I think I’ll leave that for another time! Taito sure know how to get the most out of a game, huh? As I mentioned in my review, this is a game full of intricacies and secrets!

Read MoreSo I went to another trip to the Flea Market. This time around the weather ruined my whole sale…..it was a real sad day for me since we didn’t sell much of our junk. Well after putting all our stuff away we were tired and depressed due to our low sales….we expected to make some good money you know! Anyways, enough of that, I decided to go walk around and try to find stuff to cheer me up and did I? Yeah!!! I found my first Famicom cart in a Flea Market plus other stuff! Check it out!

Read MoreThis game also has a two player option. That makes the game even more fun to play. This is just another game that you can play with a friend or even on kaillera with an emulator with a friend online. Yeah I had to mention that for those of you who have no retro gaming friends near you like me. Anyways, this game is just another great title that Nintendo released that we were able to enjoy. We had to get something good after missing so many gems(Mother or Sweet Home).

Read MoreMovement and combat in Star Control is achieved via the use of Starships – you can move your Starbase (which takes all three actions of your turn), but you cannot fight with it. You might start your chosen campaign with a full compliment of ships or you might start with no ships – it again depends on which scenario you choose. You can have no more than seven ships in your fleet at any one time, however. If you start with none then you must build them at your Starbase.
Read MoreSoon however, we began talking about companies and how they market to gamers including releasing bugged content and forcing people to download additional content to make more money. From there we went into a rant about Activision and Sony Online Entertainment, but hey, there were valid points in there and a lot of funny, which is good.
Read MoreOne of the most appealing things about Morph, at least initially, is the graphics. They really are quite lovely. Moprh himself is fairly basic in appearance but is pretty well animated, nicely defined, and has some amusing expressions. The backgrounds are also fairly basic but feature some lovely shading, and the foreground scenery looks particularly nice. Each area is colourful and distinctive, with the Gardens being particularly pleasing.
Read MoreThe game starts you off like similar Sonic games. You usually start up in some type of jungle area which developers did on purpose mainly because there could be a new Sonic player out there just getting into the series and wanted to introduce them to the game mechanics with lots of freedom. Sonic veterans will also enjoy the first couple of stages as they can get familiarized to the changes of the game from the previous counterpart.

Read MorePossibly the most horririfying thing about this game is the ‘music’. Examples featured herein range from poor right down to ghastly I’m afraid. Some of it can barely be considered music! The only reprieve is on level two which features a fairly reasonable tune, although it is looped and frequently repeated. Sound effects aren’t much better either. I don’t usually like to criticise someone’s hard work too much unless it’s obvious that they’ve put in no effort, but this one will have you reaching for the volume button pretty quickly.
