In a nutshell that is how I view the watching of the Night Springs television show that you can watch in game. Night Springs is a Twilight Zone rip-off show that you can watch on many of the televisions in game. The problem is twofold. One, for the most part you don’t need to watch the Night Sprints shows for anything other than an achievement. Two, when you are being chased down and are in the middle of intense action it makes no sense to spend up to ten minutes watching a badly made in game show that does nothing for you. The same applies for the radio. Sure, the radio show gives you some current information and town info, but again, it is long and doesn’t really help you in the game and takes you out of the moment.

Parasite Eve: The Third Birthday

Oh look, another game from a series we love on a game system we don’t. While it was true many fans of the Parasite Eve series did not think part two was a proper follow-up they were still chomping at the bit for another installment. Unfortunately, the next PE is only going to be available on the PlayStation Portable and to add to that the game is going through some… changes.

A Gamer Girls Experience

I loved Dark Stalkers and Marvel vs. Capcom. I still play WoW when I have the time (and a functional computer) and the most expensive purchase that I’ve made in the past 2 years was a PS3 for which I’ve bought and played a number of games with it (mostly RPG, but whatever-at least it’s not a Wii). Even though I have moved on from the world of dating gamers, I still have a love for gaming and appreciate the medium.

Games for Girls?

Do you really want to see a new achievement every time your girl finds a lost black sheep? If you are one of those guys stupid enough to share your Facebook account with your girl you are gonna look like a complete and total loser. Also, think of all the real chores she could be doing around the house instead of on a virtual farm and finally, 7 out of 10 Farmville players can barely cook in real life, down home indeed!

Street Fighter X Tekken: Teaser Trailer

If you love crossover fighting games then next year is going to be grand. Not only do we have Capcom versus Marvel 3 to look forward to, but a Street Fighter crossover with Tekken. This game was first announced at Comic-Con and will involve both the Capcom and Namco staff.

My Introduction within the Sausage Fest!

While I love me some console gaming, my real love is all on the PC, back when Counter Strike first came out. I played it religiously, to the point where I’d get my mom to drop me off at some random tiny little comic book store that had like six PC’s in this tiny little backroom where we’d spend hours playing DE_Dust and sweating like pigs while we screamed and flailed every time one of us got a kill on the other and my male friends would shout “Get back to the kitchen” and I’d laugh (as if we haven’t heard that one before).

Rumble at the Bugle

Storm starts out strong hitting Magneto with some powerful combo’s which is strange for me to see considering when I played her in X-Men versus Street Fighter she was pretty weak. After laying down a multi combo, Storm steps up for her Ice Storm special which looked a little bit better than the previous version, but honestly looks no different than Iceman’s Ice Storm from X-Men Children of the Atom.
