Crystal Warriors

The game has different scenarios and once you get passed the first one, you will go to the town and heal up and hire new allies as well. Don’t worry though, you will gain gold from your battle so you will be able to afford quite a bit of allies on your way. Be sure to use the INN to save your game and yes this is one of the few Game Gear titles that has a battery packed in to save your progress. It wouldn’t be fun to use a long password system you know.

Top Five SNES Shoot em ups

There had to be a ‘cute em up’ on the list somewhere and this is surely the finest on the SNES! Indeed, although there had already been numerous games in the TwinBee series, this was the first one to be deemed worthy of a release outside of Japan. It’s the easiest game in this list by far too, which makes it a nice break for one thing, and it’s certainly a rather unique game too.

Techno Cop

Truth be told the graphics were pretty bad even for the late 80’s. Both the driving and side scrolling part of the game used the same backgrounds over and over with very little changes. Each level was the same, drive shooting at cars until you get your next subject then get out and traverse a rundown building until you find the boss and either kill or capture him. Your H.U.D. or heads up display took up 40% of the screen in the form of your arm and a predator-like wrist device which displayed your target, score, health, time limit, lives and an option to switch between a net or your gun.
