Infinite Crisis What Do You Fight For?

A few of us have been playing the Infinite Crisis MOBA and I personally have to say it is fun and interesting if you are into games of that type. Right now the Open Beta is starting for Infinite Crisis and with it comes a new trailer, What do you Fight for? I admit, anytime I have an excuse to show off some comic book related fighting I am all for it and as usual, DC doesn’t disappoint. The Lord of the Rings Online Shadows of Angmar

Truth is, I could go on and ramble about a thousand other little things, you know, if only to come up with the mother of all blog-based reviews, and I wouldn’t have even managed to scratch the surface of what a magnificent beast LotRO is. Things like the recent Solstice Festival, the raising difficulty of quest as one progresses eastward, destiny points, the amazingly detailed beginner’s quests (instanced) & areas, the sheer number of available emotes, the immensely helpful community are all there for you to discover, but -as expected- not all is perfect. LotRO is still very young by MMORPG terms.

Free to Play. If You’re Going to Fail, Get Better At Failing.

It seems much more frequently nowadays that many MMORPG companies have been accepting their losses and got off their high horses to adopt the Free to Play model. Is this a good thing or a bad thing? Does it really help them bring in a larger player base? It certainly seems to be working for many of these companies but will it be accepted wife spread for future games?
