Read MoreNo game has inspired me as much as this one. Most of my inspiration comes from sound and music, and as a 7 year old when I found this rummaging through my parents bedroom, it blew my mind when I first played it.
Read MoreI started games as a kid with an Apple 2e computer. I began learning programming languages before high school and kept up with it as a personal hobby since then. I’ve worked for a number of large game developers including Microsoft, Acclaim, and others.
Read MorePlayers still enjoyed the game for a month or so. The more hardcore players kept playing for as long as three or four months. But the novelty soon wore off and the game lost purpose. Economic design played a major role in this. A serious lack of content, updates, quests, and other features also played major roles.
Read MoreQuick, dirty, elegant, funny and straight to the point. Distilled essence of 4X with Cowboy speech events AND multiplayer network support LONG before that was cool.
Read MoreI love puzzle games, they are so memorizing! Some of my favorites are Tetris (PC), Peggle (PC) and Hexic (Xbox) and if it’s referred to as a puzzle game – The Last guy (on PS3), others that require more brain power I love are: BrainAge and Rhythm Heaven (on the DS). Not only are these games addictive, but I love the catchy theme music of Hexic, The Last guy and who wouldn’t love to be cheered on after winning a level with Peggle? (Love rainbows, unicorns and fireworks!)

Read MoreThis was a blend of real time strategy and first person shooters – it took the two most popular genres on the PC at the time and combined them in their entirety. Add to that an amazing outdoor graphics engine and a story which was so clever I almost believed in it myself.
Read MoreI don’t know what happens if you screw up like if you snap her bra or something. I really think they should add that. If you mess up she gets mad and wants to leave and you have to convince her to stay and start all over. If you screw up to many times she leaves and that’s it, or you get a crying while masturbating in the shower mini-game.
Read MoreThe best games combine action and strategy and my other favorites Airborne Ranger of Project Stealth Fighter on the C64 did that brilliantly, as well as Frontier Elite 2 on the Amiga. Oh and I can’t help but mention the brilliant Nethack on PC too!
Read MoreIf you thought Birdo was weird before this commercial from Japan will not make things better. Honestly, they makes things worse. Funny thing is there is an ongoing debate as to whether Birdo is a guy who dresses like a girl or a girl. My question is do you really want to know the answer. Unfortunately, I don’t have the translation for what Birdo said, but man watching him, her, it push that egg out of its snout was just disturbing.

Read MoreWhat. A. Game. An RPG and a work of art that was way ahead of its time in terms of graphics, engine, combat and character interaction. I installed the crazy number of floppy disks it arrived on, one after the other, and three days later I remember the intense satisfaction as I finished the final quest and completed the game.
Read MoreMy fondest memory was catching Carmen Sandiego, feeling all awesome that I caught the bad guy. For an educational game at that time, it definitely didn’t seem like it. I was having too much fun trying to capture suspects and travelling around the world.
