Picture of the Day #4 Atari Games Collection
>So my lovely girlfriend (she forced me to write that) came across an original Atari 2600 system while helping a friend sell her home. Knowing my love for all things classic gaming she salvaged the console and a bundle of games.
The games we acquired were: Star Raiders X2, Missile Command X2, Chopper Command, Centipede, Space Invaders, Super Breakout, Barnstorming, Demons to Diamonds, Basketball, Stampede, Asteroids, Video Pinball, E.T. …and two other cartridges which had no labels of any kind. As seen in picture one there is also an original joystick and a third party joystick made by Gemstik. I hope to connect the Atari soon and see if it works and bring you some video from it. In the meantime if you have any old consoles or computer hardware take a picture of it and uploaded it to the official Obsolete Gamer Facebook Page and we may feature it in the picture of the day.
